Mary Scroggins Knee is my distant Great Grandmother who gave birth to Delilah Frances Knee, whom married Frank Turner and Delilah gave birth to my Grandfather William Thomas "Tom" Turner. I'd always been told that Mary was a full blood Cherokee though I've never found documents to prove this.
