There are books that talk about my 3rd Great Grandfather Benjamin Franklin Coffman Sr. (1772-1847) who descended from a long line of German Ancesty and land barons in The Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and recorded in a book titled a History of Muhlenberg County by Otto A. Rothert .
My 3rd Great Grandmother Hannah Noftsinger Coffman families are associated with being Early settlers from Old Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley with large families and Religious Believers in Early Brethren Churches and The History of The Nafzger Family in America, By Glea Brown Ricker (1719-1800 ).
I am also gathering information on my grandmother Violet E.Williams Coffman and her Colonial ancestery in Vermont. Violet the daughter of Samuel Madison Williams born 27 Sept.1861,Crawford County,Indiana ,d:27 Nov. 1938,Daviess County, Kentucky and Susan Agnes Story. Samuel is the son of Horace Wells Timothy Williams b: 8 JUL 1831,d. 31 Oct 1920 in Alton,Crawford Co. IN. and Mahala Baylor,Horace Wells Timothy is the son of Horace V . Zabin Williams b:1808 and Louisa M. Stone, Horace V. Zabin is the son of Zabin Williams b:1768 in Williamstown,Berkshire Co.,MA. and Lucy Needham, Zabin is the son of Nehemiah Williams b:19 Jan 1733 and Elizabeth Elsie Gallup, Nehemiah is the son of Robert Williams II born 1705 and Martha,Robert is the son of Robert Williams born 1681 and Hannah.
