I am now retired and have decided to research my family trees. Most all of my relatives were from or near South Carolina. I am looking for information on relatives of the following:
1) Robert and Augusta Deese Ghent. Robert's death certificate list his father as Julius. I cannot find anything on him. Robert and Augusta are my great grandparents.
2)Miner and Sara Jane McCants Powell and their children. My grandfather Lee was their son. I know very little about his family. There are 6 to 9 children listed on old census but I only know of one and that is Glenwood (Glennie).
