I joined Find a Grave so that I could document my ancestors' graves. the headstones have been a wealth of information as I have researched my family. After documenting many of my ancestors' graves I notice how many of the old marble headstones in the cemeteries I visited were deteriorating, and decided that I would concentrate on documenting the old marble headstones. Of particular interest to me is documenting the headstones of Irish immigrants. I try to add URL addresses to birth, marriage, and death records, as well as any other records of interest to the memorials I make.
