I have been doing family genealogy off and on since the late 1970s when I started throwing notes and tidbits of information in a box to assemble into a family record at some point.

My objective is to create a genealogical record of my family and to make this record available at no charge to anyone who is interested in learning about their ancestors and where they came from. Since work, family and other commitments are a daily part of my life this is an on-going project that has yet to take on a permanent form. My files consist of about 45,000 individuals to date. Most of my records include family connections to descendants from Colchester County, Halifax County and Pictou County of Nova Scotia.

Although there is much work yet to be done I have a fair number of photographs of individuals and grave markers for where they are interred.

The grave marker photos is what I'm currently working on and will be making them available on several web sites as I complete each cemetery or burial ground.

I am offering to share what information or photographs I have as long as the information is for personal use and will not be used to generate any monies for profit or web sites where users are required to pay user fees or data fees.

The families and off shoots of the following surnames are where the bulk of my data is concentrated:
Graham,MacKay,Johnson,Dean,White,McCoul,Bentley, Rhyno,Fisher,Deyarmond,Hamilton,Lemmon and many other surnames from the Nova Scotia counties listed above.
