I was raised in the community of Elgin in Lancaster County, South Caroline. The majority of my family trees goes back 300 years in Lancaster, Kershaw & Chester area. I currently live in Southern California and love tracing the history of my childhood community. I feel very sorry that I never took the time to record the verbal history and stories of the family history for my ancestors.
