Hi, I am Ruth Thornhill. I have been interested in my families genealogy for some time now. I was able to trace my Grandmother's husbands family with the help of the Barney Family Historical Assoc. to 1503 England and presented it to my Granny Ruth, she was so pleased. I am also working on my husbands family: Thornhill of Hacker's Creek Va. now W.Va. back to England in the 1700's.
