I have been working on adding names and obtaining proofs to my Ancestry.com tree Verstrate/Lottner since July 2009. I live in SW Grand Rapids area and have just now started taking pictures of family headstones in the area. As long as I'm doing this, I figured I might as well try getting pictures for others. I do work a full time job but my days off are not the normal weekend days thus allowing me to interact with office staff at the cemeteries and get permissions as needed.

On a personal geneology note, my husband never knew his father's family which started my geneology search. If anyone has any info on the Lottner family from Detroit, MI and surrounding areas, please contact me so we can confirm relation and we can get acquainted. Specifically, I am looking for pictures.

Family first names include immigrant Friedrich and his wife Margaretha. Their children August (Teresa Teed), Helena (Fredrick Ludwig), Wilhelmina "Minnie" (William Kane) and Frederick (Laura Stauch and Annie).

August's children Clarence F (Anna Preisinger), Earl L (Vera Hanecke and Delia Woodard), Ernest F (Georgiarose Brines and Dorothy Jackman) and Mabel E (Clarence Vollmar).

Helena's children Howard Ludwig (Stephanie), Grace Ludwig (Elgan Taylor) and Helen Ludwig (William Barber).

Wilhelmina's children Marguerite Kane (Bert McComb), and William Kane (Dorothy Moorhouse and Dorothea Morris).

Frederick's children Louise (Clarence McBride and William LaCosse), George Lattner (Eleanor Spalla) and my husband's father Frederick (Agnes Sangster, Barbara Tubergen and one other but I don't know her name).

Really wanting a picture of this last Fred as my husband was born after the divorce and never met his father who died when my husband was very young.
