The Taylors, Matthews, Martins, Yarboroughs and Poindexters came to North Carolina from Virginia during and after the Revolutionary war. Andrew Married Martha Columbus Matthews. The people mention above lived in Falls Church Township which was a few miles west of East Bend North Carolina in Yaklin County.
