I'm just hoping to maintain and link family members from various parts of the country.

I am a descendent of the William Dean family of Cornwall, Connecticut and Canfield, Ohio. Many of my ancestors were early settlers of the Western Reserve. My great-grandfather wrote a small book about their history that has always been of great interest to his descendents.

As one of the last direct descendents of William Dean, I have recently become very interested in those old pioneers and their extended families (Deans, Beardsleys, Sacketts, Tanners, Chidesters and others) in Connecticut, Ohio, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.

Thanks to the tireless work of Jennifer Neff and her gracious transfer of over 150 memorials, I have really caught the Find-A-Grave bug. I hope to be able to build on her work in some small way and pass it on to the next generation.

After several recent cemetery excursions, I have also discovered that I enjoy doing that, and am happy to help anyone who is looking for pictures.
