Bio

Genealogy is important to me as I never knew my grandparents, they all died prior to my birth. I knew my grandparents' names and origins, but never knew anything about their parents, etc. Through research and Ancestry.com, everything has come together and I now have over 900 names going back hundreds of years. Names of grandparents who served in the Civil War, were farmers, blacksmiths, wagonmakers, and one 10th-great grandfather on my husband's side of his family by the name of James Cole who came to America from England in 1632 and resided in Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts. He built and ran a tavern (inn/hotel) and became a major part of the early colonists.
