I came across this site as a result of the work of my Cousin, Bill Lappenbush. He had researched our paternal line back 5 generations already, so I did some searches to find my Paternal Grandmother's relatives and my Mother's relatives. I actually found quite a few, and as I find the details of other extended family members I'll continue adding to this. What a great tool to keep a record of our heritage, and it doesn't cost a fortune like other sites.

I've corresponded with a few nice people on this site already as well, it's heartening to see that altruism is still alive and well. I expect that I will have plenty of chances to reciprocate in the future.
