I have been interested in the Cariboo Gold Rush history for many years. My location is in Quesnel, British Columbia. I have easy on site access to the Barkerville/Stanley cemetery's and other surrounding Cariboo communities of historical interest. I have a large photo collection of cemetery headstones/headboards. I am also a dedicated genealogist and historian.
I am also a director/member with the Friends of Barkerville Cariboo Goldfields Historical Society. We are a non profit society with dedicated members. Over the years we have been the custodians of the Stanley Cemetery at Stanley, BC. We have on-going work bees at the site and recently replaced old decaying headboards with new ones. I accumulated history of the people that is known and some unknown who are buried there. Any new information is welcomed.
