My actual name is Joseph Ian Ridpath and I go by Ian. Iggy was a nickname that my older brothers gave me. I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1946 and am the last son (of 6 sons) of James Clayton Ridpath of Lakefield, Ontario and Alice Cockeram (Innes). My paternal grandfather was James William Ridpath of Lakefield and my paternal great-grandfather was Samuel Ridpath of Lakefield. I have always had an interest in my family history and have written a comprehensive book on the families from which I came. I live in Waterloo, Ontario.
