I will be 98 years young this April and am interested in honoring my relatives. For Christmas three years ago, my family gave me a DNA test kit from Ancestry.com. We are all really excited about connecting with others and learning their stories.
My dad, Edwin Lewis Scofield, Jr., started our family genealogy research back when I was about 10 years old. He would write letters and then wait months for a response, that sometimes never came. I am constantly curious about what he would think of computers and email.
Find A Grave is a wonderful organization and its goal to find graves and memorialize them is a definite challenge. I signed up in order to do just that.
I am specially interested in the Scofield, Beall, and Weed families. Would love to connect up with our relatives. I have moved back to Austin in January 2016, and hope that this year is as exciting as last year.
