I find that everyone here at Findagrave.com truly care more about the deceased than the families of their deceased loved ones. Not enough people care about the deceased, most only care about what they can obtain from the deceased; autos, homes, jewelry, property but... most importantly cash money. The assets & other valuables that were once owned by the deceased changes everything in many families.

I love my family whether alive, deceased, rich or poor. I am the family historian & during my research I found quite a few of my paternal relatives all over the United States then I located & contacted them & now we're all in daily touch with one another. I've had many paternal relatives who contacted me through Ancestry, Findagrave & Email in search of our deceased & Iiving relatives & I must admit that my journey has been awesome. My father John, my uncle Albert & my aunt Phyllis have all told me so many hilarious & interesting stories about our Meekins family that I never forgot. I remember when I was 9 years of age when my paternal cousin Theresa Meekins-Braxton-Gardner (Tee) spoke with me in great length about our Meekins family ancestors & their history which I never forgot anything that she conveyed to me. Tee knew first hand because she grew up in her maternal grand parents household who were Jefferson & Alice Meekins, Sr. & without my cousin Tee's information my tree would not be complete. I have created both my paternal & maternal family trees which are combined as one but they're quite different than the usual family tree because it's My Grave Memorial Tree & I truly put my whole heart & soul into it.
