Born and raised in Hutchinson Kansas, I lived in Colorado Spgs for 11 years and returned "home" to Kansas in 2002. I spent much of my growing up years in Western Ks in a small town called Hanston (Hodgeman County), with my grandmother, Mary Hertel Schmitt. I have so many heart warming memories of my time there.
Recently my granddaughter took an interest in my "roots" and got my daughter and I interested in our family tree. And so I have begun my search for the past and beyond~ So excited to see where it has taken me so far!! 3-21-2013
