After growing up in the CT River Valley, I went to school in Michigan, lived in Muenster and Berlin, Germany, Washington, DC, San Francisco and Denver.

Most of my working life has been spent doing travel and airline work. After 23-1/2 years with United Airlines, the company's bankruptcy forced me into an early retirement and brought me back to the Washington DC area. I now work for a very small company that has airlines for its customers. One of these years I will be able to retire...I'm looking forward to that.

My parents were married for 65 years...in fact my father passed away on their 65th wedding anniversary. My mother is still alive and living at Avery Heights in Hartford, CT. I know she would miss my dad terribly, but her dementia has advanced to the point that she does not even know that he has left us.
