Bio

I am James Eugene Smith AKA Jim Smith. I wasn't born in White Springs, but moved here when my Granddaddy and my single mom Betty Smith now Fouraker, came here for Granddaddy to be a foreman on the construction of the Stephen Foster Park.

Mrs. Bell was my first grade teacher, like the majority of the kids who grew up here from the 40's to the 70's. Mrs. Virginia Daniel was my second grade teacher and I graduated in 1965 with her daughter, Anne.

I served in the U.S. Army for 20 years and a week, retiring as a CW-3 Helicopter Instructor Pilot.
Currently busy with handyman and lawn service business while my sweet wife finishes up her last 3 years as a second grade teacher!
