Born in Gladwin County, Michigan, daughter of Second gen. Michiganders I am amazed at the trails of my ancestors and the joy of following them, the surprise of finding some came from the same county as my Jim!
Married 57 years in 2013, to James Andrew Martin from Adams County, Pennsylvania,we summer in Michigan and winter in Florida, visit Pennsylvania every year, and still love to travel.
This is cemetery year, we will visit a few, dig through the interesting legends and statuary, ready our own final resting place, catch up the family trees and enjoy this beautiful country.
I heard of a word called "bored". I've never used it!
This site was my dream, and I only learned of it this year. What an amazing job many have been doing! We are a bit old, but hope to make some important contributions!
