What can I say, I just love genealogy! My fondest memories from my childhood are the stories that my grandparents shared with me about growing up during the Great Depression and their colorful ancestors and family members.
My family lines include Mott, Shoemaker/Shumaker, Jones, Dillard, Mills, Mitchell, Gilmore, Bass, Thompson, McShan, Ward, Kent and many more.
I'm currently trying to break through a wall with the Shoemaker/Shumaker family of Cass Co & Bowie Co, Tx.
