Hello friends, I am an author, prayer minister, and have been an amateur genealogist for about 35 years. So very happy to find this site where I found information for which I had been searching for many years. It is a privilege to be a part of this great endeavor. My maiden name is Rone and I have discovered my Rone ancesters back to 1790 unfortunately I hit a brick wall but I keep searching and am working on all my family lines including, Rone, McCool, Taylor, Gilbert, Johnson, Presley/Preslar, Hayes, Fisher, Yarbrough and more. Our family came from North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri to Texas. The McCool Family came from Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, to Texas. Most of our ancestors are Scots-Irish and German from the Palatines. They all came pretty much during the early 1700's except for the Yarbroughs who came here around 1647. An amazing American journey.
