I have family history researching in my blood. We have papers from several generations documenting who begat whom. I have also been researching my GG Grandfather's Civil War regiment, the 139th PA Volunteers. I was planning to write a book but then I found that Art Fox, a "real" author was writing the same history. Since he had access to more resources than I did, I offered to help with whatever I could. When he sent the draft of the list of members including death dates and burial places, I offered to look everyone up on FG. As of August 18, 2020 I have found 713 out of approximately 1100 who enlisted in the regiment. I have about 75 outstanding photo requests for those I found that did not have photos so if you can help I would really appreciate it. Art doesn't have room in his book for all the photos so I have posted them on my website www.139thPennsylvaniaVolunteers.com if you would like to take a look.
