Bio

I'm a history buff in general, particularly of the UK and Wales, but delve into any number of subject areas such as where I've lived and now, where my ancestors lived and worked.

I've been into genealogy off and on since the '80s but have really become more engaged since 2015 or so. The families I'm tracing are: Hubbard's, Gatch's and Crosby's (and related) in South Carolina; Auber's in West Virginia and Ohio; Pittman's in North Carolina; Cook's - from Canada (I think) and; Jones', Lloyd's, Evan's in North Wales.

I'm also working on the Mitchell, Music, McClellan, Pow and related families.

I live in the NW corner of Rhode Island, close to the CT and MA borders and I'm in all three states regularly. If you're not familiar with New England, there's always a little family plot just around the next corner. Some have been kept up, some not. And of course a lot of larger cemeteries. Would be glad to help if you think you've pinpointed a graveyard or cemetery or a particular person.
