Bio

Several years back, I completed the journey to acceptance in the SAR and thank that organization for their assistance along the way. I was inspired by my mother's Van Horn family tree completed by a man I knew well during my childhood, my great grandfather James Hatch Van Horn. I was also intrigued by the history of his father, James Judson Van Horn who was graduated from West Point in 1858 and had a storied 40 year military career.

I'm now actively working on my Van Arsdale roots. Fortunately many have lived in my home State of New Jersey, but tracking them down is a challenge, but I guess that's what this is all about! Welcome any assistance and willing to provide what I can to help others.
