I am the second son of Samuel Lee Freeman, Jr. and Versi Laverne Sis Slade Freeman. My paternal grandparents are Samuel L. Freeman and Loyce Gunnell Freeman. Paternal great-grandparents are Anderson Qualls Freeman and Elmira J. Wheatley Freeman, and Nathan B. Gunnell and May F. Goddard Gunnell. My maternal grandparents are Dewey Benjamin Slade and Dolly Vasti Anderson Slade. My maternal great-grandparents are Joseph Edgar Slade and Elizabeth Lena Lee Slade, and Joseph Felder Anderson and Mary Linie Brock Anderson.
I am married to Cynthia Lucille (Robbins) Freeman. We have four children: Heather Michelle Lee, born 3-2-1983; Luke Benjamin Freeman, born 1-10-1985; Austin Leo Lee, born 6-28-1985; Troy Edward Freeman, born 7-25-1995. I work in the oil and gas property management business.
