I am a direct descendant of Benjamin Cutler, the elder and Hannah Davies who were the first members of our family to arrive in Australia from London, back in 1833. I've been researching my family history since 1987 and am in the process of self publishing my family history book, "New Horizons, The Cutler Family in Australia".
As I live quite close to the Warrnambool cemetery, I am more than happy to assist anyone seeking a photo of a loved ones grave site but it is a rather large cemetery and it would be much appreciated if at least a Row number could be provided. The Cemetery staff are quite helpful in providing this information and the telephone number is 03 5562 5773, hours of operation are 10.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. Bear in mind though, that the office is not always manned as staff do maintenance of the cemetery as well as office duties. Meantime, I plan to continue to photograph as much of the old cemetery as I can.
