Bio

I was born and brought up as a Vermonter but have not officially lived in the state since 1983, when I joined the U.S. Army. I began my interest in genealogy when my mother started talking of a project she had been working on for a good portion of her life. My strong desire to help her continue with her research began in 1996 while I was stationed in Germany. Once I got hooked, the rest is still being discovered and uncovered daily. My primary interests in genealogy include my paternal family (Pierce - including Doying, May, Hurlburt, and Percy) and my maternal family (Wilder - including Richardson, Brown, and Noble). More recently I have began to introduce my wife's Dutch ancestry into the mix of our family tree that now includes well over 21,000 ancestors and descendants.

As the world of Find-A-Grave becomes more embedded in my use, I will entertain EDITS to memorials I have created. Please be extremely descriptive in your change or addition requests. State your exact relationship to the deceased before continuing your request. Also be advised that no gravestones I present in my memorials have been copied. I ask that you do not copy any I have provided either.
