I was born in South San Francisco and currently reside in the Pacific Northwest.

I've worked in the silicon wafer/computer chip manufacturing industry the majority of my adult life and am now retired.

I was introduced to genealogy in 2005. Since then I've discovered my maternal descendants come mostly from Sweden and Germany. Unfortunately, I have learned very little about my paternal side (Elliott) as I was adopted at a very young age and all pertinent records were sealed.

My wife's roots are Norwegian and German. The Ringen's emigrated to this county from Norway and the Arp's came from Germany.

Current branches of research include: Elliott, Schilling, Langdon, Östlund, Bergström, Arp and Ringen families.
