I was raised in South Eastern Kentucky. I am the 6th of 11 children. I have been doing genealogy for about 40 years. It is something that I love to do. I have always loved going and sitting with older people and gathering their wonderful stories. I have also always loved going to cemeteries. I have spent many hours at both these pastimes. I think it is important to pass our family history to the younger generation. I am also a picture fanatic, I gather all I can find and I share them so hopefully they won't be lost. I am thankful to my parents for encouraging me to chase my roots and branches! My Daddy's is 91 and he still encourages me to search on.
