Find a Grave ID

Bio

I'm interested in genealogy which led me to FindaGrave, and I have a background in photography, so I enjoy fulfilling photo requests. I'm happy to add GPS and additional photos to a memorial that already has a photo if you message me with a request. I have a day job so it would be when I can fit it into my schedule. I've been concentrating on Green Lawn in Columbus, Ohio since they have excellent records and section maps. I always add GPS, take a photo of the plot area if there is no headstone, and take photos of other family member's headstones/plots in the same plot if I'm there for a request.

Green Lawn's online directory has the section and usually the grave number of burials, but there are some sections that don't have the grave numbers online. It isn't possible to locate a grave in Green Lawn without the section/grave number because it is such a large cemetery. If the person for whom you want a grave photo only has the section number listed in the directory, you can call the cemetery office and they'll give you the grave number. That speeds up the process of fulfilling the photo request.
