Find A Grave is a wonderful platform to help find ancestral family members and friends. Because of it, I have been able to find and share the resting spot of many.

All the information added to the memorials I create is found on ancestry.com, newspapers.com, and cemetery records. Please remember that due to poor record-keeping or illegible handwriting, there can be errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in these records.

Prior to photographing, I regret that I will not clean the lichen or moss off the markers. While I know some do, I follow the Find A Grave guidelines and refrain. Some markers are very old or in poor shape; I will not risk damaging the stone.

For the volunteers, I personally know the long hours you invest. Thank you for all that you do.
