Within the last several years I have become very interested in genealogy. Following my retirement as a math teacher and the deaths of my parents and grandparents, I have tried to piece together the family history that I failed to capture while they were alive. One of the most valuable tools I found was findagrave and I used it often as I was searching for answers. Soon I realized I was enjoying filling in the gaps and linking families together as much as the genealogy. So... I put two and two together and realized I really wanted to work as a contributor. Here I am, volunteering and feeling like I am working toward something great!
