I have always been fascinated with where my family came from. The curiosity grew into a passion for genealogy which I have now been doing for almost 40 years.
Born and raised in Ohio, transplanted to Maryland in 2001 only to realize I was literally walking the same ground as my ancestors who first settled here in the 1700's.
Mom to eight, grandmother to four with lots of my own siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. and I can't overlook the family pets....Emersyn and Bethany our rescued doggies and Turbo and Ophelia our rescued cats.
As of 2020 I now have my own genealogy business and have completed courses through Boston University as well as numerous genealogical courses taught by industry professionals and have attended Roots Tech each year. I am also the current historian for the Pilgrim Edward Doty Society.
