I grew up in Lewiston, Winona, Minnesota as did my father Edward Miller and his father Frank Lewis Miller. My Great grandfather Franz Miller was born in Kreis Cammin, Pommern, Prussia and immigrated abt 1870 and settled in Lewiston, MN. He was born out of wedlock to Engel Marie Miller on May 03 1842. His father is unknown yet. Engel married Johann Gottfried Buntrock on Dec 11 1846 in Kahlen, Cammin, Pommern, Prussia and had 9 children. Franz Miller, Albert Paul and sister Wilhelmine "Minnie" Rosaline Buntrock were the only ones to immigrate to the US. Albert arrived in 1884 and lived with Franz before taking the train west and settling in Columbia, South Dakota in 1885 to marry Ida Yeske and raise a family of 11 children. Wilhelmine & husband George Wulff settled in Long Island, New York and raised a family.

I started working on genealogy of my family in 1995. Surnames researching Miller, Buntrock, Schatz, Steber, Raddatz, Schott, Fritz, Wegmann, Wiedemann, Wenzlick and many others.
