An avid love for all things old, I discovered genealogy.I mostly research the families of Griffin, Tysinger, Mercer, and Owens of the Tidewaters of Virginia and Pitt County, NC.
After moving into my 1818farmhouse, I began researching the families that formally lived there: Graham, Goddard, and Burgess.
I live in Rumford Center, just feet away form the Rumford Center Cemetery, and I'm more than happy to help with info.
