I recently started researching my ancestors the Nicks, Smith, Lawrence, Kelley, Nash families history. My grandfather was Cecil Calvert Nicks, son of Raford Kaiser (Rafe) Nicks and Jettie Lenora Link Nicks ,my grandfather's brothers and sisters were Clarence Nicks, Dallas Nicks, Carl Nicks, Marshall Nicks, Myrtle Nicks (Galloway), Mary Nicks (Moody) and infant Christine Nicks; and my grandmother was Edith (Smith) Nicks, daughter of John Wise Smith Sr and Lessie Maie Lawrence, my grandmother's brothers and sisters were Viola May Smith, Earl Lawrence Smith, John "Jack" Wise Smith, Jr and Virginia Smith (Lampley). Also started researching my father's side of the family. My mother is Linda Sue Nicks Kelley Nash. My father was Raymond Lee Kelley, son of Joseph Lafayette (Fate) Kelley and Hautie Ann Ragsdale. And he had multiple brothers and sisters and half brothers and sisters. If anyone knows any info on anyone in my family please contact me. i would love to find out the history on my family.
