Welcome,My name is Catherine Rone Lindner. I became more interested in my family's background after loosing both my parents suddenly and kept putting off asking them both where I came from and some stories to past down to my own 6 children and 4 grandchildren. I never knew much if at all about my dads side, "Rone" "Thomas" "Kuykendall'S, which is in NY,Va., NC, Tennessee, Kentucky mainly, nor a lot of my mom's side, "Medary", "Myers","Somers" "Haddock" which are all North & East of the United States, NJ, NY, Pennsylvania mainly.I have been trying to learn about my fathers who had served in the Revolutionary War and Civil War.I still have a lot of research to find. Not even close! But what stories and information I have learned makes me want to keep going further. I just want to know who I am and where I came from before i leave this challenging world left to me by them.
