Someone on Facebook introduced me to this site while I was looking for info regarding my Great Great Great Grandfather, Samuel Shilling, who fought and was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg PA - was taken to several Confederate prisons and was only one of three men to ever escape from one of the worst prison camps in the South. More info to be added shortly. I have the original photographs concerning my GGG Grandfather as he was a hero to us and anything concerning him was carefully kept through the years.
