I became interested in genealogy when a classmate brought his family tree to school. My thought was, "I can do that too!".

I filled out as much as I could of my tree using information from close family members. I then found out about cemetery records, genealogical libraries, and extended family soon after! I still remember the thrill of finding my mother's family line in a county history and the disappointment of knowing some of it was a bit of a stretch - not many of our ancestors lived to be 112 years old!

Standards for genealogy haven't changed - whether or not the information is found in print or online, accuracy is vital. I hope that what I find and post is just that for my family members and others.
