I started doing genealogy when I was about 8 years old. I spent the summers with my grandmother who was the head librarian of a very large genealogy library in Oakland, CA.

I have also loved cemeteries since I was very young. I lived a block away from a very beautiful one and walked through it going to and from school each day.
