Ellie and I live in Wichita, Kansas, and I became interested in family history and, to some extent, genealogy after I retired in 2005. My father's side of the family has a family reunion every 3 years in Niobrara, Nebraska, and most of my interest in family history probably stems from that experience; and, also, the long time interest in family history by my sister, Judy Rivas, who lives in Denver, Colorado. Ellie, however, has given me the greatest amount of support for all of my undertakings, as I have attempted to learn more about the family history on both sides of my family.
