Bio

I have done genealogical research over a 40 year period. My lines are all original settlers of the Williams Co., Fulton Co., Ohio and adjoining counties of Hillsdale Co., & Lenawee Co., Michigan. Just within a big circle in that area, so I am related to alot of people there. My sister and I walked most cemeteries in those counties before any books were printed. I was only a teen when I started recording family history. I then went to older people in the community and ask general history questions. They would respond that I could find things in the history books, but my response was always that I wanted their view of things. That is how I managed to get lot of history recorded that isn't in those books. I spent alot of time in the family cemetery as a child. lol. The cemetery had a fund for mowing, but not trimming. So I went with my mother as she trimmed around the stones. To this day, I still try not to step on someone's grave. It was a big no no within my parents.
