Thomas Clay bought him. Over eighty registered foals, among which were winners of several National championships and a recorded two bronze medallions came from Red Eagle. I knew the herd was beautiful. I learned the rest as a side result of my family quests on Find A Grave. My memory of Tom Clay, Roxie and Their 1001 Ranch is both clearer and richer.
