Bio

I'm an amateur genealogist who developed the habit around 2014, and have been an avid Findagrave user since then, although I just started photographing and editing on here in 2023. I started photographing cemeteries because of a family member whose burial location I've been unable to find for years, and it's made me want to do more to help preserve people's history for their present and future loved ones as I search for my own ancestor.

I don't do this just to be someone who controls thousands of memorials, so if you would like to manage any memorial I have just shoot me a message and unless it's a close relative I want to keep for sentimental reasons, I have no issue transferring it to you! With that being said, I take the honor of managing memorials very seriously and will do my best to respond quickly to messages and edit suggestions. Also, if you see my name in your searches and want me to look for something specific feel free to ask.

My direct ancestors I've traced through Findagrave:
Grandparents: Chester Gargus & Jenny Gargus, Henry Theilen
Great-grandparents: Earl Gargus & Edna Gargus, Gerome Evans & Elvia King, Henry Theilen & Julia Theilen, Henry Schmidtke & Lois Nehls
2x great-grandparents: Mathias Gargus & Annie Gargus, William King & Annie Walker, James Evans & Margaret Evans, Leslie Bergner & Bessie Bergner, Henry Theilen & Rienelda Theilen, Anthony McLaughlin & Mary McLaughlin, Hermann Schmidtke & Augusta Schmidtke, Peter Schreiber & Sophia Schreiber
Will update this list more when I feel up to it.

I'm actively searching for information on the burial place of Mathias Garrigus/Gargus, my 3x great-grandfather. We know that he was living in Laclede County, Missouri, with his daughter and son-in-law (Eliza and Zadock Piercy/Piercey) at the time of his death, sometime between 1870 and 1880. Since Zadock and Eliza's burial places are also unknown, as well as several of their children, we believe there must be a family plot on the land they owned at that time, which was southeast of Lebanon, near modern-day County Road 32-411. If anyone has any information about any cemeteries on private property in that area, PLEASE contact me.
