I am picking up where my grandmother left off in my ancestry research. I thought perhaps I could finish off her work fairly quickly, but I am finding that I want to push even further. I am also researching for my sons' ancestry through their father.
I'm really excited about being a member and would like to eventually do volunteer photo's, but with two small boys I will have to wait until summer when a trip to the cemetery can be a fun outing. I remember visiting my father's grave this past summer and my oldest son (3) walked up to me, placed his hands on either side of my face and said "Don't cry, don't cry." And then he was off running because in his mind we were just at a big park.
