I worked for the City of Sundown, Texas for 8 years. During that time I maintained the cemetery records. I also prepared and submitted an application to The Texas Historical Commission requesting to have the Sundown Cemetery designated as a Texas Historical Cemetery. The designation was granted and a plaque was erected at the entrance of the cemetery. From a very early age I have been fascinated with cemeteries. I went to a daycare across the street from the cemetery in Farmersville, TX. While at daycare we would take walks through the cemetery. I also enjoy spending time researching history and my ancestry. My family likes to geocache and we visit a lot of cemeteries. We also love to travel with our kids.
