My father's Y-DNA and mtDNA have been on file at Family Tree DNA since 2004. For the last ten years I have mostly focused on the Y-DNA line. I am now interested in learning about his mtDNA line.

I have traced my father's maternal line back to Grace McConnell Longshore (1791 – 1857), daughter of William and Mary McConnell from Belfast, Northern Ireland. William and Mary McConnell are buried in Newberry County, South Carolina. It would be nice to be able to get mtDNA confirmation of this.
