Bio

Several of my dad's cousins were avid genealogical researchers. One of his cousins (Miss Bessie Garvin) did extensive research (which can be found at the South Caroliniana Library at the University of South Carolina). A family member has published a book about the Tyler family back to 1604. Another published a book about the Busbee side of the family. These are both on the paternal side.

Some of my direct lines are Johnson, Tyler, Busbee, Furtick, and Richardson. Almost all of the family is from the South Carolina area. More distant relatives are mostly from England and Scotland.

I really started my search in March 2014 and have found lots of info posted by others. I always try to give credit to those who have done genealogical research ... just a very common courtesy.... Thanks!
