I was an environmental analyst and planner in my profession, doing a tremendous amount of writing, citing scientific research all the time; so, attention to detail and finding citations/sources to support facts is critical to my genealogy research. Before requesting changes to a person's information, I thoroughly research that person in my tree to make sure to use the best available information. I am not one to jump to conclusions or to request changes that are not documented.

My family history begins around the Gallitzin/Cresson area of Cambria County, Pennsylvania. My direct paternal ancestor's surnames are Plunkett, Solan, Reilly, McTamany/McAtamany, Quinn, McAlister, McGarvey, and Farren/Fairns. My direct maternal ancestor's surnames are Angus, Kemerer, Hildebrand, Ribblet, Palovsky, and Schmidt.
